Collegium Palatinum When in Heidelberg, drive in the direction Altstadt, Zentrum, Schloss and through the Gaisberg tunnel. After the tunnel, turn into the second street on the left to get onto the Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage (it’s like an official u-turn). Then, turn right at the second traffic light to enter parking garage P5. The collegium Palatinum and the restaurant Stadtgarten are right across the street. So walk back out the garage to the Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage, cross the street at the traffic light and continue towards the restaurant Stadtgarten. To get to the Collegium Palatinum, walk past the restaurant and its parking space and turn right into the path that leads up the hill. The Collegium Palatinum is the beautiful Art deco building to the right with a black, wrought-iron gate.
Sporthalle der Friedrich-Ebert-Schule, Sandgasse 14, 69117 Heidelberg The Friedrich-Ebert-School and its gym are part of a complex of three school buildings next to the Heidelberg University Library in the old city centre. Follow the indication for Zentru / Schloß and then continue direction Schloß. Drive through the first tunnel (Gaisbergtunnel) and turn left right before the second tunnel (follow the signs for the parking garage No. 11). The parking garage no. 11 lies exactly between the University Library and the school complex. The shortest way to get from the garage to the school is to walk up the garage’s access ramp, then turn right into Plöck (that’s the name of the street). After approx. 100 meters, you’ll reach the schoolyard (on the right side). Enter the schoolyard, the gym is the building on the left. We are dancing in the ground floor gym. Events Sporthalle der Friedrich-Ebert-Schule: dance class every Tuesday from 8.30 to 10 p.m. (during the university term) |
